Revolt (probably the best alternative to Discord that exists right now, also they use some @mutant emoji, hi) has announced they're doing the reverse of Discord's stupid and socially corrosive username transition, by bringing Discriminators in to their service.

I think it was probably quite timely, yes, but also username discriminators are just a good idea IMO, and they seem to have put a good bit of thought into it, for instance - unlike Discord's old discriminator system, Revolt makes it impossible for people to roll a cooler looking discriminator number than others, and you can't choose what number you get.
This is such taking of the piss, I love it.
