See, comments and reblog-commentary being different things on here sucks because it really makes it harder to just keep a conversation going
twitter has a lot of problems but that was always one of the better aspects, threads felt like a good consistent way to respond quickly to eachother
Like this just makes me worry I'll keep missing comments because this feels like, narturally inclined to be buried over time. And like, if people are adding on to what i want to say, i want that to be as visible to my followers as my own posts.
How visible are comments on here? I know this place isn't meant to replace twitter but I don't like the idea of conversations being designed to get buried.
Like, am I doing this wrong? Are reblog chains the wrong way to do conversation/idea-iteration on here?
and can cohost please do something so that my own posts don't clog up my dashboard? If anyone shares them, than it shows up on my end too and like, when my social circle on here is so ssmall its all the same five posts plastered over and over and that makes this site feel REALLY small and crampt and isolating.
