So in your story of meeting the korps 2 (great work) it's mentioned that heroes go investigating then come back with RCG's. What is that like? Do Korps agents try to simply convince them to join? Wondering as a whole what the common means of recruitment there is since heroes can very easily be their enemies

Well it varies accross a broad spectrum. Sometimes it's genuinely just convinve them to have a sit down and talk, sometimes it's the old Conversation During A Fight About Your Convictions, sometimes it's asking them if their government ordnance hero group is actually paying them all that well, sometimes it's forcing them to witness some aspect of corruption and evil authority they've been abetting through their work.
And Sometimes it's the old "Sexually dominate the hero and make them realize they're so into this" shtick, a Korps Classic.
And sometimes they're shown the light with just a little teensy bit of hypnosis or mind influence. As a treat. (Just to calm them down enough to get them to see the truth. Probably)
