trans butch dog themed disaster | makes guitar pedals and keyboards and stuff | aussie (pejorative)
finished its first run of vtmb this week. have a lot of thoughts abt what it does and doesnt like.
played a tremere with anarch sympathies, maxed out firearms, research, and thaumaturgy.
think it (me) approaches the setting like a book to read rather than a setting to play in, but was getting a feel for it by the end.
game has many problems, but it’s fun. may do another run as something fun - malk or gangrel or something.
cant help feeling like a more linear (less open world) game with the same role playing elements, so you can change era and setting more wildly, following the life of a longer lived vampire, would be fun
just, dial down the racism and ableism. embrace the differences that things can bring more
in a week it flies north to its home town for christmas. family dont really do much with it but it still has to be there
thinking of running some film group watches while there. dunno
i really need to find a synagogue or really a decent group in general, in australia, that is accepting of trans ppl, and anti-zionists, and converts
i havent been having much luck. everything gets swept up in culture wars.
there are amazing activist groups here, i dont feel i know enough yet to join them.
