I wanted to get into longform posting and this seemed like the perfect place. Unfortunately capitalism exists so we can't have nice things.

I might start a blog or something but that'll be after this site goes dark. It might be at chops.dev idk

Nothing in gaming hits quite like opening up a new Yakuza game and just exploring around the city, seeing what's changed and what's still the same, what shops and activities are still there. No other series manages to turn the setting into a character quite like this one.

The game quality might be inconsistent but the vibes are always immaculate.
