uncertain!! but kayde was one of the first arcanian designs that avenue sold so if this gf is also an arcanian there's a fair chance that there's not that many degrees of separation 8P
ohhh different arcanian my gf has a tabletop campaign with a species of dragons called arcanians that hir sona (and hir, cuz theta-delta) both are, and a mutual friend of ours gets a lot of art from the same artist so i was like "... are you in hir tabletop game..."
a fascinating coincidence!! kayde's got a lil dragon influence but this flavor of arcanian refers to a being whose physical body is made of magic ^^ no bones no organs just magic pretending to be that stuff

i love the way the stripes are counted on the ears and tail, the little hands holding each...such a cute detail <3
that's hooves down one of my favorite bits!! it's such a fun lil way to show the stripe count 8D
