You spent part of last night before bed writing about someone waking up to the emergency broadcast system beep on their phone, and it's a warning about an impending morphic wave.

And you don't even have one sip of coffee in you before your actual phone does the same damn thing. Just for an earthquake.

Swear sometimes the universe around me has a sense of twisted humor.
