shout out to rock paper shotgun for publishing an article about LXD :: Red Honey, a short and free metroidvania with a really great abstract, geometric art style and a cool ambient electronic soundtrack to match. i wouldn't have heard about this otherwise. it's fairly straightforward, but it's insanely polished for a game jam game made in just 18 days. give it a shot if you're a fan of the genre with two hours to spare
