for what it's worth, professors typically root for their students till the bitter end. the only time their capacity to help you stops is when the course is over or the student drops out
so idk, i feel like it's a "what would goku think" moment. maybe you'll fail the class, but you still currently have access to resources that could help you if you retake the class. maybe for some people it just takes a "longer class" in having to retake a course. one of my math professors spoke of how she knew she wasn't as talented as others in her class and so everything took twice as long to learn, but she did learn it, and now she teaches it
hugs and stuff, best of luck to you. just ask at this point if there's a better way to absorb this, if there are patterns that are leading to misunderstandings. you've got nothing to lose at this point. at least give your professor the satisfaction that you will fight to the bitter end to learn something
i just sent them an email promising not to give up, despite wanting to just lay on the floor for the rest of the day.
at least that e-mail is out, so if you want to take the rest of the day to lay on the floor and cry it out, so be it, whatever gets that pain out of your system. i've been there
