It's funny that while I struggle to actually think up images and make art I am constantly easily thinking up art adjacent projects that I can totally pull off. But Lord don't expect me to actually paint shit never happen no way.
I have in mind a portable sketch box based on one I saw a little while ago, with mounting point for a tripod beneath and an adjustable easel with multiple angles. Two asymmetrical drawers, one for canvas and sketchbook, one for tools and paints/pallette. I can see it almost in its entirety - I only have to make some decisions regarding dimensions and materials, and I can make almost all of it out of discarded material at work.
But who am I making it for?? Not me!! When do I do plein air painting??
I have the urge to make thing but no use for what I want to make and no way to even sell or trade it
Unless someone is interested in a bespoke one of a kind plastic object and wants to engage in some barter with me.
