This isn't a "Washington drivers suck" because so many of us here are expats from other states, I have no clue what the local driving culture was like before. But the melange we have created is deeply shitty. Every time I signal a lane change people will go to LENGTHS to make sure I don't get over. Like. It really feels like people take it as a challenge. Where did that come from?! And how do we get rid of it? Additionally I'm tired of being cut off if I leave a car length open for a moment. I don't trust my brakes!! It's for safety!! Fuck OFF!!!

San Diego driver here letting you know it's like that here too. That space in front of me is my space, not yours. If you signal I'll let you in and make enough room but if you just cut me off then we're both lucky if we don't crash

I hate driving I hate driving I hate driving
