I've long held that you can pretty reliably peg someone's age by asking what they think's about to get played on the Media Cart. Not as a matter of intellectually thinking it through: What does your gut reflex tell you is about to be popped into that machine? I may as well out myself by saying that, for me, it's either The Lion King or Fern Gully.

Yall got movies?? I got Bill Nye or ancient creature/dinosaur documentaries.
And it was only ever my science teachers that did it. Tho I'm also not exactly complaining because I found both very intruiging.

In high school, I think I saw the first forty minutes of "Leprechaun In The Hood" about thirty times.

And "Selena"

And "Friday"

I watched so much Crazy Frog on that kind of TV zoomed to level 2 in school

never watched Isle of Flowers though, i remember vividly i was sick that day and didn't see it, for what i khow, is a brazilian shared experience watching that on school

I didn't miss Quest for Fire day though ( i was already 17s)

in reply to @belarius's post:

i honestly didn’t even know it was on tv until a few years ago. i always thought it was just one of those sets of tapes they would sell specifically to schools like those nature documentaries with the trippy old school 3d animation intro

in reply to @SleepyC420's post:

As I remember it, band classes were the most likely to get the movie treatment. Easy to imagine a generalist sub showing up to a room full of students holding brass & woodwind instruments and saying to themselves, "Shit, I don't know, these kids movies have songs in them."
