I just cannot communicate how BIG they are. They can't even fit the assembled aircraft through the hangar doors with the wings at full extension - they have to fold up a seven foot tip on each end just to roll it out. Incredible!!
I asked if they'd teach me to operate the crane because it's cool and I want to do it. They'll show me the next time we move a wing panel out. Decided I'd rather ask than wait to be assigned some distant day.
Today I am assigned to "LEAN activities" which functionally means "go lean around somewhere" because there's no work for me.
Time to read I guess.
