Struggling with a full lack of drive even though my job is providing me oceans of time to draw or write. I literally can't make myself look at the paper.
I was starting to drift into the "buying shit will make this go away" mindset and I just this minute snapped out of it.
No it won't. That's the devil talking. A drafting arm won't make me inspired. A special drawing pad won't. Spending a bunch of money on silverpoint shit won't.
Instead I should think about what I love to draw, and what I'm good at, and daydream, and listen to music, and keep paper handy so when the moment comes, I'll be ready.
