Work shit update
Chatting with a guy who used to work at my local manufacturing facility yesterday, and learned he has a friend in my local facility who wants to transfer north at the same time that I want to transfer south. We might be able to make something happen. He's gonna reach out to his old boss there and see what he can see. I'm putting in the paperwork saying I would like a transfer please on Monday because these 60-90 minute commutes north and south suuuuck.
If nothing comes of it, that's fine, but y'know. Miss every shot you don't take etc. Technically not eligible for transfer till next October but they're making some exceptions right now for new people with long commutes though the ones with 2hr+ have priority.
