does anyone here know latin well enough to take some money to double-check that grammar/syntax of a phrase? i can get google translate to give me like three versions and i have no idea how much i should trust any of them

Of all the languages for my Catholic high school to not offer, it's baffling that I don't know latin
One year of Latin was mandatory for my STEM magnet high school* and all I remember was that Eugae (pronounced you-gay) was an exclamation in Roman times meaning delight, pleasure, surprise, and sometimes used ironically.
and I only remember this because I went to high school between 2011-2015 and we collectively thought this was hilarious 🤭
*which I think is wild for a public school to require
