Turkish is proving a lot more intimidating right off the jump than German, Spanish OR Japanese were at the beginning because I've never really heard it spoken before. I like it way more than I liked French to start, though.

It's funny that this is the first one that SOUNDS foreign to me because I'm just not used to the sound of it. Like even though I don't speak Japanese I recognize the sounds and it sounds familiar, I know a lot of individual WORDS. same went for German and Spanish before I studied.
