Because we escaped the site after it fired a core staff member and turned to shit. We use those tags to maintain the community.
Oh, thats a good idea. Wish I'd thought of that when my friend group on twitter was scattered to the winds.
Basically we all used to post together on destructoid until getting fed up with the shit heads who bought the place for their kayfabe investment portfolio.
Now we bring our filth here and tag it with qtoid to keep the community intact. I sometimes leave the tag off my posts if they are sufficiently unrelated to gaming. Since we all follow each other I kinda look forward to the day we can stop using it.
That's a pretty good way to find each other's as refugees, so to speak. Like I said to someone else who explained it to me, damn but I wish I thought of that.
