shoutout to microsoft's official learning platform for making the first lessons "hey do you know how to say 'boolean'? boooo leee annnn?" and then, with no fucking ceremony whatsoever, throwing me into CoDE cHaLlEnGes that require me to know about functions they havent taught yet. "oh you can say boolean? sick write an if else if statement with a very specific syntax and numerous classes and variables, what do you mean we didn't show you the syntax for those? what class? figure it out you weenie"

And then, the example they provide as a solution is broken. It only sort of works. I figured out a way to MAKE it work properly, though, so I guess I rose to the CHalLeNgE. And figured out how making arrays and using random items from those arrays works.

I never used any of the programming I taught myself in lockdown so all of that is forgotten, I guess, but I do remember the PROCESS of it, so i guess it wasn't time wasted. Those were different languages anyway. Clean start.
