so im trying to brainstorm topics for my next essay and here's the ones that sound good so far
its a compare/contrast where i can write about differences, similarities, etc
relative merits of different animals as pets
differences and similarities between different kinds of paint, ie watercolor vs casein vs acrylic vs oil etc. can draw on past expertise for this one.
everyone's favorite musical genres (serious), rap compared to country, similarity + difference
that one has real legs so has probably already been written a few hundred thousand times by students
rail travel vs air travel for vacation purposes (the plane is just a means to get you there vs the journey is the destination w/rail, quality of the journey, speed etc)
idunno
this is a tricky one because i need to have evidence for things i claim on this one so i need to find a topic i can speak on without being tempted to pull claims from out of my ass
though i did a pretty good job avoiding that with my last one "an open letter to the fleas in my carpet".
