Are there any book arts conventions in the Pacific Northwest, I wonder

Something better than the Seattle zine fest, at which my partner and I had a really lousy time, and also wasn't exactly artist books as much as books by artists, that's different

Like for hand bound books, letterpress, artist books

There's the Seattle Antiquarian Book Fair and the Rose City Book and Paper Fair in Portland. Codex is usually in the SF Bay Area, tho that might be further south than you're looking for. If you like artist books, the Guild of Book Workers PNW chapter is packed with book artists (the kind who make books that are art pieces) and there are regular events online with book artists talking about their work.
