concept: a ronin maid. a maid without a mistress. two possibilities:

  1. she thus can't do any actual cleaning, since one needs orders from milady in order to do anything like that, so she mostly just sits around being cute and gay, or
  2. vigilante cleaning.

You could make a VERY fun take on Yojimbo with Mary Poppins. A British village with two old families that have seen better days but still have a stranglehold on the town, and Mary arrives right after the last of the help kicks the bucket or hits the road... And she just moves between the two houses, helping them undo themselves.

Reproduce some of the sword fights but she slashes with her umbrella...

There's at least one episode of Akiba Maid Wars where there's a ronin maid. Only problem is what maids do in Akiba Maid Wars is mostly perform hits on maids serving rival feudal lordsrestaurant groups, so there's no vigilante cleaning.

I had an easier time with ZLS, probably because my social circle has a lot of transfem lesbians in it and a bunch were talking about it. (I think that was also the character who most looked like an Aikatsu expatriate)

Although I'm clearing out my uncomfortably long retronauts backlog and in last year's January listener mailbag, which i was listening to on my way into work @feitclub namedropped it so maybe this twonickels.png moment is a sign it's time to watch it.
