I wanted to do some "magical girl" stuff and ended up with this. I feel that the generic bad guys are the best part.

I realize that I have a very limited experience with the genre. I watched some Cardcaptor Sakura way back in the day, recently I've been reading Coffee Moon and I know the subject from the wikipedia article and some vague images of Sailor Moon (I've never seen a whole episode actually) and maybe Minky Momo that I think my cousins watched when I was a kid.
I remember imagining some kind of relatively dark academic setting a while back but I only remembered it after I was done with this.

Anyway, I did the figure of the jumping girl and just ended up picking a sports theme for random reasons. It didn't really lend itself to the kind of frills and stuff that I associate with magical girls and she looks more like some kind of cheap vigilante like the guy from Kickass. I guess that giving her a mask and writing "magic" on the shirt may not be enough. I should have put a gem on that whistle.
Not super happy with it tbh but I'll still post it (it's late too).

I also wanted the characters to be the main focus so I didn't do any background full of cross-hatching and stuff.

Huh. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I guess the girl here was having PE class in school, and she just used the mask, and a volleyball to beat down the bad guys here.

Like I said, it's a guess. But that's what I got out of the picture. It's still a nice one. And it's also funny, too.

There's no real story so you can imagine whatever you want. ^^
I did imagine a bunch of things but I most probably will never come back to this anyway.

And thanks. If it's funny then good.
