I found a forty year old manual for a very obsolete dialect of Pascal for a long dead computer my family never owned in the first place
Guess I'm gonna learn it
They appear to include a lot of specific instructions that probably make sense if I was using a TRS-80 computer. Like every WRITE (); includes the numeral 13 for some reason, and a lot have 28 and 31 too. Hmm.
I tested them on Charm Pascal and it did get text to print and accepted my inputs, but then it just quits out. Still!! Progress. Another odd thing is everything prints as a single line, I bet that didn't work that way in 1980.
I probably need a newer book. ...or a trs-80 emulator.
