A three inch wasp in my sister's dining room and I was the one who had to kill it. It stung my arm several times and each sting sprouted black ferns with pink nodules. I had a deep, upsetting realization that this somehow meant more insects would emerge from my body, and I would have to have my arm removed immediately. I was glad it was my left and not my right so I could still draw.
