My mom had Marlowe for longer than she's ever had any other animal in her half century of life. He was her shadow and she did everything - including putting herself into debt- to make sure he lived a good life despite his raging allergies and health issues. I'd went with her as moral support when his seizures got too bad and we've both been quietly traumatized by the experience.
Honestly because of that I'd been putting off making a portrait of him for a while- until I saw a post about a frame with the bit from a comic "Thanks for everything, I had a wonderful time"
I repurposed a frame that the niece and nephew made and added the words and gifted her this portrait- which now sits as seen above beside his favorite toy and collar.
Anyway- personal story over enjoy the dog art.
