i kept a daily one the year before covid and i loved it, the next two years made me depressed to use, for obvious reasons, so i stopped. but now i keep one and just use it when i feel like it, especially on trips. i keep movie tickets or have friends doodle in it when i can. i keep track of books i read, etc. i cant rely on my brain to be able to keep tabs of nice memories all the time, lol.
