Pewter was always just like "I'm making a fursona" and over time I become comfortable enough to make them really fruity and a witch but that was justy personal development as a person.
Gin was not originally a Sona but I made him so I'd have a twink to express certain things using. Over time she just absorbed parts of me through that lens and the shape-changing aspect solidified that I think.
July was intended to be a story construct who I was designing for fun but the ethos I used was that she would be the coolest and most inspiring lady who inspired jealousy and longing so like yeah of course I got attached in that way. That's what I was doing. That was the point.
