this is a serious suggestion: hey did you know Star Trek Prodigy, the animated series "for kids", is basically a Voyager sequel and pretty good to boot after a slow startup?
that would be fun to check out at least a little. I have no idea what it even is.
A variety of young aliens in the Delta Quadrant are being used as forced labor at a prison colony and discover an abandoned? Starfleet ship, using it to escape. They do not know what Starfleet is and the only crew aboard is an emergency captain hologram of Janeway. This proceeds to bloom into something very weird over the course of the season as they get onto Starfleet's radar, we find out why this new-model ship exists, different characters from the past get roped into the plot... pretty good stuff.
