I'm one of those raid bosses that aren't actually an enemy to the heroes in the slightest but the devs wanted to show off their cool Friendly Dragon in action so much so they hacked together a whole "I want to fight the heroes to test their strength before providing my help" plot point
I feel like in the process of the fight, at least one party member realizes they're also a dragon and transforms. Because you just have dragon-unveiling aura around you ngl
okay but that actually would rule having my whole fight arc as a like, glimmer of hope and encouragement for the party at the beginning of the third act in that sorta way feels very fitting for how I aspire to be
Nothing more hopeful than a mid-fight powerup! And nothing reads like a powerup quite like "Now you're a dragon".
