one of my favorite planes has a tank of fucking hydrazine in it and the funniest part is the reason is literally "just in case" (it will fucking crash without electrical power because it's a pioneering design for static instability and needs a computer to fly stably so it needs an emergency power source that is as reliable as possible, ergo it needs fairly reliable fuel)
