you mean to tell me that more than a few sophonts take a quiz with questions like "are you racist" with the top answer being "yes" and the closest option to "why the fuck is this even a question" is a fucking "i can't be racist, i have a Black friend" option, and that doesn't give them pause?

i sympathize heavily with therianism and use the label myself. i just want folks to be aware and recognize that regardless of personhood (or lack thereof), whiteness or non-whiteness is a deep rooted systemic thing that affects your biases, prejudices, and privilege. that's all i'm asking.
