Rank modes in fighting games isn't much sellin' point to me. I'm always in private rooms with friends, playin the arcade mode, or do the casual mode online. I just like pressin' buttons, shit talkin' with friends, n' doin' my π ±ombos.
Back I was learnin' Dragon Ball FighterZ by goin to my locals, I remember how super bothered this one dude got at me for "not taking the game seriously." I'd say that I'm average at fighting games, so this dude who places high in locals would trash talk my gameplay. I'd just laugh it off or trash talk back. However, they'd would get SUPER mad at me for expressin' how tepid I was for blockin their mix-up, made the right read, or down a character occasionally.
Keep in mind this guy bragged about their online rank when they win offline, so they're bit of an asshole LOL. Anyway, it was always funny to me that I just be content about my micro decisions in matches where I get 0β2'd, then they get mad at me for that. What a funny person LMAO
