when i was small i thought there was no one who felt like me in my area, that i was alone and i couldn't find community or even simple happiness in a smaller conservative area. i wanted desperately for there to be Any trans person around to tell me i wasn't alone here.
it's my niece's 12th birthday party and she points out one of her friends who's a closeted transmasc; she told him about me and i was like a celebrity to him. she tells me he was ecstatic to see me in person.
