🎆Finally activated after what feels like months🎆

Name's Eiyrnas (pronounced /aɪˈjɪɹnəs/) and I dabble in playing video games, conlanging, worldbuilding, D&D, photography, and (mostly bad) anime.

Video Games

Right now I'm really into Destiny 2 thanks to my boyfriend, but some of my favorite video games include: The Sims (1-3), Spyro the Dragon franchise, TF2, Stardew Valley, Zoo Tycoon series, Skyrim, KSP, Runescape, and Puzzle Pirates (lol)

Really I'll play anything if I've got friends to play with. 7 Days to Die is barely a game (it's simply not) but it's great fun with friends.

I pretty much play on PC exclusively and have been for a long time now, but I do own a Switch lite and have access to a PS4 & 5.

Conlanging

I've been into it since at least November of 2013 though I didn't really get invested into conlanging until I discovered CWS that is. I've started about 12 conlangs, but there's only like three that I really like or have any significant progress. I'll list those ones now.

Niddarin (2017)

A language I made for my homebrew D&D campaign world. It's tripartite and VSO. it's unfinished but it's one of my favorite ones just because of the way it sounds. It doesn't stray too far from English's consonant inventory, which means I can actually pronounce it unlike some of my other langs. One of my favorite words from it is sumaddíos (sumaðə̆jɔs) meaning fortress or castle wall.

Jená / Yená (2015)

My most significant language vocab-wise with around 1k words and my first foray into creating a conscript and font for it. It's... bad, but I put a lot of work into and learned a bunch about conlanging since it was probably my first serious attempt at it. I plan to one day overhaul it.

A'oonirobi / Bonodu' (2018)

My current passion project, it's another language for my D&D world, but this one is spoken by frog people (mechanically Grung in D&D parlance) who call themselves aqõõňĩṙõḅ /ɛʔʌ̃ːɲĩ.ʀʌ̃ʙ/. I can't pronounce it, but I love it and my stupid froggy bois. My favorite very ridiculous word from it is õňǧõõňĩṙĩĩň (ʌ̃ŋɟʌ̃:ŋĩʀĩ:ŋ) which means 'the kinds of will-o'-wisps'. Absolutely atrocious how every letter has a diacritic in that word; it's great.

Worldbuilding / D&D

I decided that I hate myself so I made my own world to set my D&D campaigns in. Really I just didn't want to read/memorize all the forgotten realms lore and honestly some of it is stupid so why not just do it from scratch? (the answer is because it will make you hate yourself). Regardless it's fun to make maps like this: world map of my D&D world Definitely needs more work, but it's what I've been using for my campaigns so far.

Photography

One of the few things I can say I'm good at, I mostly shoot abstract and nature/landscape or still life. Not really a people person and you don't have to worry about 'posing' a flower or an electrical pole. I'm also not a fan of taking candid photography; I like looking at it, but it feels wrong for me to take pictures of strangers when I wouldn't want them doing the same to me.

I shoot on a Canon T3i mostly using an ƒ/2.8 60mm lens and would love to upgrade to like a R5 or R3 someday probably never, but I can dream can't I?

Anime

I like shōnen ok? I marathon watched Naruto including all the fillers (who else remembers the Ninja Ostrich?) as an adult since I never watched it as a kid. I had a nephew who did watch it so I had some exposure to it, but after watching Naruto I got hooked, mostly on shōnen (yes I do watch Boruto... feel free to stop me please). If you're curious what I've seen you can look at my Kitsu.io library for a somewhat outdated list. I haven't read any Manga, and I'm scared what might happen if I start. Besides Naruto, sorry I mean Boruto's Dad, my other favorites are Soul Eater and Black Clover (cannot wait for the next season and the movie!).

Mjyoosik (bonus!)

I like all kinds of music and genres are confusing to me so here's a list of some many artists with a youtube link to one of their songs which I really enjoy and hopefully it'll make you understand my music taste, because I sure as hell don't:

Artists
  • AJJ (chef's kiss)

  • Beach Boys (how could one not like the beach boys??)

  • CCR (hard not to dance to)

  • CRO (no I'm not German, but CRO is fun)

  • DEVO (really one of my favs, just the right amount of weird)

  • ELO (own all their albums on vinyl)

  • GFR (I really like 3 letter abbreviated bands apparently...)

  • Gorillaz (mandatory)

  • Jim Croce (just hits the feels)

  • Kate Bush (weird and awesome vocals)

  • Lizzo (so much fun and feels so genuine)

  • Supertramp (Crime of The Century is my favorite album of all time so far)

  • Tenacious D (Jack Black and Kyle Gass are gods)

  • The B-52's (also mandatory)

  • nelward (just awesome)

...anyways, that's it. If you have any questions or whatever just hit me up, I won't mind.

@Eiyrnas

Started this 'one'shot with some friends on March 18th and ran into scheduling hell for a bit, but it looks like we'll finally be able to finish it this Saturday and I'm excited for that! So, here's a lil clip of a slight shenanigan that happened because I wasn't thinking fully about what I was saying.
