I actually left my house today and went to a drink & draw thing with a bunch of people I'd never met before, and miraculously didn't feel like a weird alien the entire time, and, indeed, at one point we had a short discussion about how some of us find excuses not to go to gatherings because we feel like Weird Fucking Aliens the entire time and, in turn, feel so awkward that we have to leave (I am told three people who were invited tonight did not come for this reason - for some reason I always feel like I'm the only one who experiences this)
Also, I brought The Dollar Store Sketchbook to show around, like "yeah here's a goofy thing I made🤪" but everyone was blown away by it and I uh, that's just. really nice??? I was not expecting that, honestly
so anyway, it was Nice and I'm glad, and I got called "cool" for the first time in my life, I have always wanted to be Cool
