I had a good night last night relaxing with the Boyroo talking horror. Ended up watching a documentary series on Zombies running from the Original Haitian Zombie to the Modern Zombie, showed him a bit of Shudder's Queer for Fear (which is a documentary about the intersection of LGBT issues and the Horror Genre going back to Mary Shelly and Bram Stoker), and talked about themes in older horror movies and how they are relevant and such

So my repertoire is very limited (I only figured out like...3 months back that no, I don't hate them, I actually really like them and my brain was just mislabeling some of my favorite horror movies as 'Not Horror')

buuuut I gotta go with the original halloween as one of my favorites, also house on haunted hill for pure cheese factor (also Hawt AF Vincent Price)

Oooooh original Halloween. :3

I've noticed like, I'm less of a "blood and gore" horror fan, and more of a psychological thriller horror fan, myself. I love that suspense and that dread feeling when you try and figure out what the hell is actually going on.
