i legitimately have no good answer to 'i'm a █████,' as i'm effectively an obligate generalist. to expand on that - on the whole, i tend to acquire a vast breadth of skills rather than a depth of skills.
i've been creating and designing computer games with my current group for nearly 20 years now, and i've known those friends for even longer than that. i write things on occasion, and what i write is usually stuff that arcs toward a certain kind of horror. i like physics, plamo, TTRPGs, telephones, electronics, music, chemistry, firearms, medicine, and all kinds of other things. i read medical journals for fun but i'm also gutter trash that lived in a squat at one point. i made a coilgun as a #teen out of parts salvaged from the trash and 'engineering sample' parts that, at the time, had a BOM cost of $50/unit.
