Batman's no killing rule is criticized because of Joker being an insane monster, but Batman's no killing rule was made long before Joker turned into a monster. Back when he was just a clown theme gangster.

Joker didn't turned into a "force of nature" until after Batman's rule was a core part of Batman's lore. And I say Joker was made worse because Batman will never cross that line. Joker's reign of terror is not a fault of Batman. It's a fault of the writers trying to do... something. I don't know what to call it but a wise woman said like "Whenever redemption becomes the end goal the writers make the villains so much nastier." And that says a lot about a lot.

Like how internet trolls become impossibly evil when their guaranteed free reigned. And the equivalent to a political party when they know the other party won't do shit.

Okay, 2 bit rant over. Rehost if you get what I'm saying.

Leftists infighting holds the left more than anything. If the left unified and coordinated then we could actually make real progress. But instead we turn on each other on smaller details that don't actually matter. Opinions really.

We need to undo capitalism.
"And replace it with what?"
It doesn't matter. Anything is better than the current that rewards bad behavior. I would happily live in an authoritarian monarchy if the monarch focused on actually helping the people. "But hierarchy is-"
It doesn't matter. If the choice is a bad hierarchy where Fat Cat destroy or a good hierarchy where someone can do something, then I know my pick. Demand the King hold open court so people can reason with him and have open debate. Problem solved.

Don't let the means justify the end. Because The Right will happily agree to put all of us in the same hole.

Trigger Warning for political bs.

So often we see feats of action that get hyped up as heroic, but systems that prevent the need for heroes are treated as a burden. We need to counter this in our language.

"I'm goal ordinance, not glory ordinance." When someone's survives stage 4 cancer instead of getting treatment at stage 1 because our Healthcare is evil.

"I rather rather prevent the problem over fixing the problem." When someone argues "Tough On Crime" over welfare despite welfare lowering crime over than police.

"Helping people who want help and leading by example is easier than forcing help as a punishment." When people say treating drug addiction as health issue, rather than a crime issue, is enabling.

We need to work together to build better language and create a stronger offense in the meme war(I mean meme as in ideas we exchange with others, but still cringe, i know). Talk and act questions. And also be sure to control the "negative space of your argument"(the stuff you don't say), because that filling in the Negative Space is a powerful strategy if done right. After all, of this is how Redhat operate. We should take a page and stop leftist infighting now!

Alright, random political rant over. Peace.
