I have three more essays I wanna post here:

  • One is about how North American independent musicians are both empowered and exploited (spoiler alert: the latter outweighs the former) by the current music industry (written pre-COVID, which might require an addendum)

  • One is about the political/social implications of algorithmic content personalization on digital platforms (written pre-COVID as well, and in lieu of an addendum I might just link some videos from video essayists I enjoy that dive more in-depth into this topic)

  • And one is about how David Lynch uses dream logic in his work, and is more of a shorter blog post than a formal academic essay

they all sound super interesting. i would love to read the one on north american artists but the david lynch one sounds. i've never heard of david lynch but i'm super keen so see how he uses dream logic.
