i think my primary problem with animal collective is they are way too straight
we kind of love the chaotic, psychedelic, folky, raucus style, and the weird incomprehensible lyrics.
but the energy of the band being composed just of cis straight guys (afaict) just really kind of carries through in some of the songs and it makes me suddenly feel like i'm listening to music for dads
need animal collective but queer and trans.....
