Thinking about the post I rebugged and for me, furry art feels like a nice way to be Embodied when I do rarely have the chance. I think OP made a nice point about nudity in it too. I like how furry nude doesn't have to be lewd, but is instead an expression of free and queer bodies.
It synergizes really well with the strange feelings I have around being ace while really interested in exploring nude/semi-lewd self expression. It's not really about sexuality for me so much as that feeling of being embodied and deeply present. It's mindfulness in the way Marsha Linehan would least expect.

Yes yes a million times yes! It's always so difficult to express how the reason we don't wear clothes or hide anything is because we already have fur and are feral, but we're not like, intentionally exposing lewd things for the purposes of being lewd, we are just proud of our bodies and want to be ourselves.
