What was interesting to notice was how our voice changed depending on who was singing, which went from very subtle (Liz mainly just changing tone to be harder and with an edge, Haze being higher and raspier but not massively so) to very noticeable (Gabriel's voice dropping an octave and being way more masc, Kinzie's raw enthusiasm and volume) and by the end not even feeling like our voice when one of our syskids joined me for a song since her voice is a lot more soft and quiet than mine. It also felt easy to switch around in-between and during songs as well, which we hadn't really been able to do for a little while now - Kinzie attempted to do Juice by Lizzo by herself, ran out of breath during the chorus, and immediately handed over to Gabriel who fumbled with it and tagged me in when he ran out of breath as well - even if after a while things started blending slightly and a couple of songs ended up with random headmates dropping in for random phrases.
The last song in particular, Torn by Natalie Imbruglia, was really interesting because not only did we have the syskid doing half of it and sounding massively different from any of us when speaking/singing out loud but...something happened during it where I'm not sure whether I blended with someone else or it was someone entirely separate, but it's like there was a third voice joining in too? I don't really know what it was, or what happened, but it was more feminine than my natural singing voice (I don't voice train, I've never really made an effort to) but didn't attempt to do falsettos or hit high notes like I do either...
We love this, love love love this! Our system has voices distinct enough that sometimes people in voice chat can't tell that we only have one body—we've been told that it seriously feels like a group chat with multiple people. We absolutely love the concept of each system member having their own voice, and we are super proud of ours and super happy to see others with it <3
