- Yo-yo tricks. C'mon, it's the obvious thing to do.
- As a weapon. Those thorns are there for a reason, and it has a decent heft to it.
- To wrap people up. Sometimes I just need to secure someone such that they can't escape, without resorting to a certain pocket dimension. People may include myself.
- Hypnosis. Wrap the string length right and it makes a pretty good pendulum. The spiral pattern gives it some extra style points too.
- Grappling hook. Okay it's not exactly a hook, but the extendable thorns can help it get a grip. This is really more showy than practical most of the time.
- Makeshift ritual circle. If nothing else is to hand, the vine is long enough to roll out into a decently sized ritual circle. Certainly beats dragging a paw backwards through the dirt.
