thinking about designs for my like. fallout alt-timeline thing where the intelligent deathclaws became more of just "people of the wasteland but kinda funky" similar to ghouls
design-wise i think i'd go with something like the fallout 4 deathclaws for a base. take that, make it smaller (like, midway between average human size and average super mutant size.) make 'em stand a bit more upright, shrink the big clawed hands down a bit and make them more dexterous for tool usage. have the tail basically act like an extra, prehensile appendage and have them curl it up into a spiral when not in use like a chameleon. give them a bit more variation in horn design, just in general
then yknow have some clothing that fits them. all made after the bombs dropped. some regular shirts and pants and such, some leathers for going out, armor, etc.
maybe you can find like one heavily modified suit of power armor that's made to fit one
