I mean, isn't the whole site built on stolen artwork? Upload first, never ask questions, only take down when the artist complains.1 I'd hardly expect them to have a principled stance on anything art related. Or really anything, given their pro-Nazi policy.
I hope that doesn't come across too aggressively, just, this is really a logical endpoint of some long and deep running issues with the site, that get overlooked most of the time.

That's an interesting choice. But I guess it's more so a site for consuming art than it is for artists, so AI algorithm generated artwork really fits in with its apparent purpose.
they even have an entire alternate site dedicated to uploading ai generated art, this is unfortunately not surprising at all
