i've got scar tissue on my lungs from a bunch of past respiratory infections (also second-hand smoke) that gives me a permanent cough. and it's been with me long enough that i kinda see that as part of me.
so ive decided theres a like. nasty curse spell in there that was designed by some angry wizard specifically for me (to avoid my defenses against such things etc) that makes my physical forms just kinda, slightly unstable. and this often manifests as having a persistent cough
