my setting's magic metals actually originate as mundane metals, just exposed to high levels of mana for extended periods of time or other unusual scenarios
the ones that appear naturally include:
mithril (silver)
adamantine (titanium)
orichalcum (gold)
and there's only one artificial one currently:
void steel (iron/cobalt/adamantine alloy exposed to the unusual energies that only exist between planes of reality)
