My favorite part about that whole thing was I heard "This soft round dragon character is just the self insert of a fatfur artist!" And I was immediately like "no shit? What's their @ I'm following them immediately"
It's really funny how everything about samael fucking causes these peoples minds to slam into a wall. They know the oc owner has a fat/WG kink, and immediately assume that any fat character connected to them must be actively sexual at all times. So Sorry can't just be a funny awkward guy, no he's gotta be some secret sex thing the owner gets off to when they see him in game.
Like no, someone with a denim fetish is still perfectly capable of just appreciating a good quality pair of jeans. Just because a fatfur oc is fat doesnt mean theyre getting off to it. Could you imagine the implications of a fat fetishist who is fat being accused of publicly subjecting people to their kink? "sorry but you're not allowed to have a body like that, there's kids around."
This is what happens when you need a clean cut distinction about what is and isn't sexual. The irony, of course, is that it's actually very common for things to get a pass for this gray zone. If you think a sexually active couple holding hands in the park carries over none of the eroticism from when that same couple was holding hands during intercourse earlier, you'd be fooling yourself.

I would agree if he wasn't an asshole about it to Toby Fox anyway i.e. trying to start weird campaigns against him, lying about what Toby talked to him about, etc.
also its a little different when the cameo was explicitly a character OC for fetish porn, vs, yknow, him just being known as a pervy lad.
toby gave him his money back and said he was uncomfortable with it because he found the character was pre-existing, and used for fetish stuff.
dude threw a fit and tried to smear toby.
toby made a statement explaining it.

ive run into this a couple times and probably the easiest way to make them fold is to just, question why what they're saying is questionable or bad or problematic or whatever is that in their mind.
The only time I've ever appreciated that kind of heads up was like, "Hey that's this neonazi's sona" which, yeah, I don't wanna draw that. Every other time has been some grody uptight Melvin scared because an artist drew a boob once.

This is a really good post but now ALL i can think is someone cursed that every time they like a character it turns out it was made by the same porn artist. Just stalking their life and filling it with adorable blorbos while drawing debauchery with the other hand.
