i think the worst thing with the modern internet aside from like, nazis etc. is that the moment anything original becomes popular those soulless children's slop content channels use its characters to cash in. i think someone should sue them for everything they have
honestly surprised it didnt happen with squid game back in 2020
both because it's disheartening as someone who likes creating things on occasion and because like. a lot of the time it's characters from horror media that really isn't aimed at kids
well aside from banban or whatever it's called. im convinced the original intent with that was to make it as marketable towards kids as possible to cash in on this happening and they just went with the whole idea that popped up that it was a parody of the state of horror games retroactively
also could you fucking imagine what would happen to this if they used like. pokemon or something. they'd be reduced to naught but cinders
